Delivery & Returns

Insulfix ships only within NSW. Delivery is via our own fleet or via CSR Bradford's delivery network.

You may also choose to pick up from one of our local branches. However if you select this option please wait until confirmation from our staff that we have this product available.

SYDNEY METRO DELIVERY
We offer free delivery within 50km of Sydney CBD when you spend over $300 in a single transaction. For all orders under $300, the shipping fee is $99.

We reserve the right to ask for extra shipping costs if the order contains exceptionally bulky items and are going to areas with higher than normal freight charges.

FREE WAREHOUSE PICKUP
During the checkout process, you can choose to pick up your order from our warehouses in Castle Hill, Unanderra or Beresfield. Once we have received and prepared your order, you will receive a phone call and email confirmation that it is ready for pickup.

Please note that pending stock availability at your chosen location and preferred date of pickup, we may require extra time to prepare your order. You will be notified in the earliest possible manner should this need to occur.

REGIONAL NSW DELIVERY
Outside Sydney Metro, Newcastle Metro & Wollongong Metro delivery is at a flat rate of $99 per order. Further regional areas may incur a higher delivery fee.

If you are unsure whether your area is eligible or not, please do not hesitate to contact us. We reserve the right to ask for extra shipping costs if the order contains exceptionally bulky items and are going to areas with higher than normal freight charges.

DELIVERY TIME ESTIMATION
Orders are generally processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days. In some circumstances orders may take longer, however you will be notified of the delay.

The length of time for delivery of your order depends on:

  • Stock availability
  • Destination of order

We keep stock of popular products in our warehouse and we often ship the same day the order is received if the order is made prior to midday.

Specialty items and stock that needs to be ordered require an extra 2-3 days for delivery – we will notify if your order requires this.

We do not provide an express service, and we cannot guarantee delivery days and times. We would recommend you wait until you receive the items before confirming times with electricians and other contractors.

If you need your order urgently, please feel free to send us an email prior to purchase with the item/s you are looking to purchase and the delivery address for the order to sales@insulfix.com.au so we can give you a more accurate shipping time.

RETURNS
You may return most new, unopened items within two weeks of delivery. See below for more details on our returns policy.

Insulfix Returns Policy

  • Return of non-stocked* items to Insulfix warehouse by customer
    15% return fee on the total amount of returned items or $75 - whichever is greater
  • Return of stocked** items to Insulfix warehouse by customer
    15% restocking fee on the total amount of returned items
  • Return of items that need to be picked up from site by Insulfix/Supplier (see conditions below for items that can’t be returned)
    15% return fee on the total amount of returned items and $75 freight charge
Conditions
  • Items to be returned within 14 days of the initial order date.
  • We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
  • Items to be stored securely under shelter until they are returned to our warehouse or get picked up from site.
  • Returned items to be checked on return at warehouse to ensure they are in resaleable condition before the refund is processed.
  • No returns or refunds for custom made items such as, but not limited to, cut to length products, custom faced items, industrial ventilation, other special orders.
  • Non-stocked* items are those that we don’t stock in our warehouse but are returnable to our supplier. Stocked** items are fast moving items that we stock in our warehouse all the time.

Request a return

Please contact us on sales@insulfix.com.au to arrange for a return process to be initiated.

If you require for items to be picked up by us, a freight cost of $99 will be charged to you and can be deducted from the amount to be refunded. 

Alternatively, you can drop the items back to our warehouses for returns processing. Our team will arrange a time in advance.

Processing time for a return

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper however in many cases you will receive a refund quicker. This time period factors in the transit time for us to:

  • receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days)
  • the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days)
  • the time it may take your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
